About DSM Bali Foundation
DSM stands for Disadvantaged, Sustainability, and Malnourished; is a local charity based in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia. It is a subdivision of Dompet Social Madani (DSM); a philanthropic institution that focuses on empowering underprivileged mothers and children to become independent, have character and love the environment
Education
Education is every child’s right. Education provides opportunities for children to live a better life in the future. Education can break the chain of poverty and unemployment. DSM providing the Children’s Talent program to help orphans and poor children to obtain formal or non-formal education such as scholarships, learning facilities, teaching staff, children’s talent homes, and coaching. Children are nurtured according to their potential, interests and talents. Children are expected to have competence, leadership, independence and good character
Economy
Economic prosperity is important for household sustainability and the quality of regeneration. Sufficient income will encourage families to live healthier and happier lives. DSM seeks to optimize the potential of mustahik (the Deserver) through the Business Smile program. DSM carries out potential assessments, assistance, capital assistance, business infrastructure for Ultra Micro entrepreneurs, Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM), and Small and Medium Industries (IKM). In order to strengthen the economy and food, DSM incorporated the Community Farming program. Assistance for developing agriculture, livestock and fisheries-based businesses
Health
Everyone wants to live healthy. But an unhealthy lifestyle. Resulting in the emergence of degenerative diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, cancer and osteoporosis. Babies and toddlers experience death, malnutrition and stunting. Bad environmental conditions, weak economy, lack of knowledge, make people easily sick.
DSM, through the Healthy Families program, provides health services through mobile services, medical and maternity clinics for free. Carrying out health education. Facilitate ambulance services. Providing healthy nutrition education services, healthy food packages, healthy kitchens, use of home gardens to grow vegetables, and assistance to local integrated health care centre (Posyandu). Providing clean water through the Water Source of Life program
Why Us
DSM Dompet Sosial Madani established in 25 August 2001 has become a well-known institution with a wide range of social engagement including but not limited to women and children empowerment to have a better life. And to take an active role to make the world a better place and it’s start from the households, the families, the individuals, for them to help themselves.
DSM Disadvantaged, Sustainability, and Malnourished in association with DSM Dompet Sosial Madani is created to cater those needs to relate with Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs).

Mission
To eradicate children illiteracy, limited access to the health system by providing opportunity to channelling their wellbeing in a more accessible way. To raise woman health system awareness for their wellbeing to avoid malnutrition, high mortality rate and emotional instability. To encourage them to unlock their full potential to improve their living quality

Billy brings a diverse background and a strong commitment to making a positive impact to our team. Billy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Institut Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Jakarta, reflecting his commitment to understanding global dynamics and humanitarian efforts. He is also well versed in NGO operational management. Billy possesses a unique set of skills, including diplomacy, event coordination and cultural engagement. His diverse skill set enriches our team.
Yuyun Apriani (Yuyun)
Operations
A disabled woman who is highly dedicated to social affairs and committed to providing a positive impact on those around her and the team. Yuyun is also part of the Indonesian Association of Women with Disabilities (HWDI) which provides facilities to build a more inclusive environment. And Yuyun is a health facilitator by building support regarding emotional instability
